Media representatives filming or reporting on Rochester Regional Health property must be accompanied by a member of the Public Relations team or receive express permission to report unescorted.

Patient Compliments, Complaints and Care Concerns
Patients, family members, and community members who wish to share feedback, raise concerns, or file a complaint related to a patient care experience should contact our Patient Relations team directly. Rochester Regional Health has a dedicated process for reviewing compliments, complaints, and care concerns to ensure they are addressed appropriately and confidentially.

Release of Patient Information
Patients’ and families’ confidentiality and privacy are of the utmost importance to us. Information about a patient’s condition may be released only when permitted by law and when an inquiry includes the patient’s name and the patient or a legal guardian has authorized the release.
As a general practice, Rochester Regional Health does not release patient names to the media. When permitted, we may confirm a patient’s name, age, sex, and condition, consistent with guidance from the American Hospital Association.
